🌐 Does the SoterCoach Hub Need Wi-Fi?
No — the Hub is connected via SIM card by default and does not require Wi-Fi for regular operation.
However, if your site has poor cellular coverage, you can connect the Hub to a Wi-Fi network to ensure faster and more reliable data sync.
📶 How to Connect the Hub to Wi-Fi
- Swipe up on the tablet screen to open settings.
- Tap “Wi-Fi connection.”
- Select your network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap Connect.
- Press the back arrow on the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the SoterCoach Hub app to return to the main interface.
👥 Duplicate Worker Profiles (and How to Fix Them)
Sometimes you may see two profiles for the same worker.
This usually happens when:
- A worker mistypes their login during check-in, creating a duplicate.
To resolve this:
Email help@soteranalytics.com and include:
- The names of the two profiles to merge
- Any relevant context
Soter support will take care of the rest.
🔇 If a Device Isn’t Beeping
Here’s what to check:
Step | Description |
---|---|
✅ Was the device scanned at shift start? | If not, it won’t activate. |
✅ Is it the first day of the program? | Feedback starts on day 2. |
✅ Is it charged? | Hold the button for 2 seconds: - 1 beep = 25% - 2 = 50% - 3 = 75% - 4 = 100% |
🔄 Still not working? | Hold the button for 40 seconds to restart. Wait for the startup melody. |
