Managing Dashboard Users
👥 Where to Manage Dashboard Users
All user access and permissions are controlled through the “My Company” section of the Soter Dashboard. From here, you can invite, edit, and remove users as needed.
➕ Inviting a New User
- Navigate to My Company.
- Click “Invite user” (top-right corner).
- Fill in:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Job role
- Set additional options:
- ✅ Receive notifications when help requests are submitted
- ✅ Permission to invite other users
- Assign site and department access:
- By default, users can see all sites and departments.
- To restrict access, click the ➕ button and select only the relevant groups.
- Click “Invite user” to send the invitation email
→ Or copy the invitation link to send manually.
✏️ Editing or Removing Existing Users
- Find the user in the My Company list.
- Click the menu icon (⋮) next to their name.
- Select Edit to change:
- Email address
- Job role
- Visibility settings (departments/sites)
You can also:
- Send a password reset
- Resend invitation
- Delete user if they no longer need access
✅ Best Practices
- Limit dashboard visibility based on user responsibility to maintain data security.
- Regularly audit users with full access, especially after team changes.
- Use descriptive job roles when inviting new users for clarity in permissions.
