GeniusIQ: How to get your first document in the knowledge base

We have designed SoterIQ to be a simple product to get immense value from. All that is required to get started is to click the SoterIQ tab on the left side of your screen.

Once you have selected that tab, the platform will instruct you to add your first document. By clicking the blue button, you will then be provided with a popup that walks you through the upload process.

You will be instructed to do 3 things:

1. Name the file
2. Select File Type
3. Select File from the computer

Under Select File Type you have 4 options:

To properly label each document you upload here is a quick guide.

1. Regulations and Standards - Use this label for external consensus standards that apply to your business.
   • Examples: National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes, International Fire Code (IFC) documents.
2. Company Policy - Use this label for high-level, corporate-specific documents that prescribe how the facility should operate.
   • Examples: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manuals, Corporate Governance Policies.
3. Company Procedure - Use this label for documents that provide step-by-step instructions on job operations or outline how work should be performed.
   • Examples: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Workflow Guides.
4. Other Company Information - Use this label for documents and files that contain data or information useful for high-level decision-making.
   • Examples: Injury and Incident Data Reports, Equipment Manuals like Forklift Manuals.

Once you have completed those steps and uploaded the file you want access to, the document will be shown in processing.

After a few moments, once the document is ready for use throughout the platform, it will have a green check mark.

If there is ever a red cross that means the file in unable to be used throughout the platform and may need support's attention to be useful to you.

If you wish to disable a document from use within the platform, click the 3 dot menu on the right side of the screen. This will allow you to remove that document from SoterAI’s analysis.

GeniusIQ allows you to upload an unlimited number of files of any size. By providing the system with comprehensive data and information, you enable it to assist you in making consistent, high-quality decisions at scale. With GeniusIQ understanding the nuances of your business, you no longer need to guide it or explain obvious facts—it will already know! This means you can leverage AI for genuine productivity and decision-making processes that other AI systems cannot support due to their lack of context.

Currently, the information within GeniusIQ can be used for image and video analysis. In the coming days, the information within GeniusIQ will be able to be used throughout the chat experience, answering questions, performing data analysis, workplace inspections, policy reviews, and so many other use cases!
