Ingesting & Managing Risk Data

This article explains how to feed your incident, hazard, and control information into SoterAI’s Risk Intelligence layer—and where to manage those data sources.

Supported Data Types

Risk Intelligence processes uploaded files—CSV, Excel, PDF, DOCX, and more—and automatically extracts incidents, hazards, and controls from your data. Whether you supply structured tables or unstructured reports, SoterAI parses the content into the risk register for scenario generation.

Uploading via Data Sources

1. In Data Sources, navigate to your Internal folder. Only documents and files uploaded into the Internal folder are made available for the Risk Intelligence layer.

2. Click Upload Document, select your file/s, and choose the appropriate document type.

3. Map your file’s columns to SoterAI’s expected fields (e.g. “Date,” “Hazard Type,” “Control Status”).

4. Review the preview to ensure accuracy, then click Process.

Processed data become Enabled by default—available to Risk Intelligence for scenario building.
