SoterAI Magic Link Login Issues

Purpose:
SoterAI uses magic link emails for secure, password-free login. If the link doesn’t arrive, isn’t working, or leads to confusion, use this guide to resolve the issue.

🔄 Common Scenarios & Fixes

📬 “I can’t find the Magic Link in my inbox”

This is usually caused by:

• Spam filtering – Ask the user to check their spam/junk folder

• Firewall or security settings – Some companies block unknown external emails

• Typo in the email – Confirm the correct address was used when sending the invite

Solution:

• Check spam/junk

• Confirm email spelling

• If needed, have the Organization Owner resend the invitation

⏳ “The Magic Link is expired or doesn’t work”

Magic links expire after 7 days.

Solution:

• Go back to the SoterAI login page and request a new magic link

• Or, have the Organization Owner update your invitation via:

  • Workspace Settings → Members → Update Invitation

🔄 “The link opens but takes me to a blank page”

This usually happens when a user:

• Accidentally creates a new organization instead of joining the one they were invited to

Solution:

• Find and click the original magic link from the invite email

• Or ask the Organization Owner to resend the invitation

🔧 “The Magic Link works, but I don’t know what to do next”

If the user sees a Create Workspace page (blank screen with blue "Add New" button):

• This happens when they land in a workspace management screen

• The correct next step is to click the Add New button in the top right

🚫 “No Magic Link is ever sent”

This is rare, and often not a system error.

Possible causes:

• Corporate firewall blocking the email

• Spam filtering

• Mistyped address

• User already received the link but missed it

Solution:

• Wait 2–3 minutes

• Search for “SoterAI” in email

• If still no link, ask the admin to update your invitation
